This was a picture taken in the spring of 2004 at one of the final resting places of the 1980 Stang that I owned at one point in time. It was sold by me to my friend Rob in 2000 and used as his daily driver and the car that got him addicted to drag racing. When we decided that the car was too rough to use as a shell for our "build-up project" , it was partially parted out and then sold to another friend of mine who had intentions of restoring it and using it for drag racing. I helped him weld in all new floor panels, install all new carpet, dash, center console and other stuff. He ended up moving out of state and had nowhere to store the car, so he sold it to another friend of mine who also had intentions of completing the project and using it for drag racing. After he spent a short amount of time working on the car, he decided it was too much of a project and sold it to a guy who races Fox Body Stangs at the dirt tracks in the mini-classes for around $100. By now it is probably parted out...and will never see the road again. RIP Black car.
This was a picture taken from the September 2004 bracket race at BIR in Brainerd, Minnesota of my '04 Focus ZX3 that I recently traded off for a '98 Ford Expedition. I decided to run the Focus just for the fun of it to see what it would do.
Best 1/4 mile times (with severe wheel spin) were:
16.689 @ 81.28 mph
16.745 @ 81.43 mph
This picture was taken at my first attempt at Auto-X racing in St. Cloud, Minnesota back in the fall of 2003. This is my '87 GT that I still have.
The car did fairly well considering it is sitting on stock '87 suspension and some fairly cheap tires on the stock 15" GT rims.
This is a pic of my '98 Expedition I just picked up. It has the 5.4 liter V8 and 3.73 gears. It's going to hopefully make a good tow rig for pulling the ole '87 Stang to the dragstrip. I just installed a Class III Receiver Hitch just for that purpose. Otherwise no mods are currently planned for this rig.
This is a picture of the '91 Explorer that I owned for about 5 years. I just ran across this picture the other day and wanted to put it on here. I looked up the VIN # not long ago (I still have it laying around) on carfax and it looks like it was involved in a rollover back in '02. I am assuming it was totaled out... so RIP Explorer.
